If you would like to bake edibles at home, one of the easiest ways that you can bake your own edibles is with the help of quality cannabis butter. There’s a fairly easy way that you can make homemade edibles with about an eighth ounce of weed and a stick of butter. Here is the easiest way that you can make cannabutter to start baking your own edibles at home:
- Start with 1/8 of an ounce of cannabis
- One stick of butter
- 6 cups of water
- A strainer
- Your cannabis grinder of choice
- A pot of boiling water
- A Tupperware Container And A Low Weight Scale
Begin by grinding your cannabis into a shake like texture. A shake texture would be a grind that you would typically roll up into a joint.
Pour 6 cups of water into a pot and heat until the water is simmering. Add the full stick of butter and your ground cannabis into the pot. You’ll see the butter start to melt and get the fresh odor of cannabis being extracted from your marijuana. Stir and cook together the mixture for at least an hour. If you continue to heat up the cannabis, it can get more potent. Within two hours you will have extracted most of the cannabinoids but most of the time an hour is enough to extract most of it.
Squeeze and strain the cannabutter after you’ve been stirring the pot. Line your strainer with the cheesecloth and hold it over a Tupperware bowl that is large enough to fit all of the material in the simmering pot. The cheesecloth will remove all of the material from the pot and make sure that you are left with just the butter and materials. Make sure that you pick up the cheesecloth and wring it out over the Tupperware as there will still be plenty of cannabinoids on the leaves.
Put the Tupperware filled with your cannabis oil, melted butter and water into the refrigerator for at least five hours. From there, the water will separate and you will be able to pour out the extra moisture having just the butter . look up your favorite baking recipe and use the cannabutter to bake it from there!
